The most colourful day of the year, Elmer Day celebrates individuality, kindness and friendship through storytelling, crafting and dressing colourfully at home, in schools, libraries and bookshops all around the world.

Elmer Day is celebrated every year at the end of May, although schools, libraries, bookshops and families are encouraged to celebrate in the week surrounding on a day that suits them best, giving children the opportunity to share Elmer stories and explore what makes us all unique while spreading colour, creativity and joy.
